hello again

well the long awaited bundle of joy arrived six days late back in January. We got a pink one and were very happy :-) Labour was fantastic, very quick and apart from a few issues with compound presentation and meconium in the waters everything went very well and was all over with in less than 6 hours. We were only in hospital for 2 hours before she was born :-) Preston hospital was fantastic and I can't complain at all about the service we received.

The big noisy one quite likes his little sister and loves to hold her and cuddle her, although from where I am sitting it looks rather like the lion cubs playing on wildlife programmes! Baby K is now 20 weeks and growing fast.

Recently we've been coping with a diagnosis of CDH (congenital hip dysplasia)and from 10 weeks old baby K has been in a pavlik harness :-(

It's been hard to deal with, the emotions came from nowhere and I've never been more upset in my whole life. I cried pretty much non stop for 48 hours. Nothing makes it better. At least she seems to be okay with it.

We are now on countdown to 4th July when hopefully little missy will only have to wear it for 12 hours a day. More about coping with it soon but in the meantime peace is about to be shattered as we have to pick up the noisy one from nursery.
